Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a collaborative nursing team. You will assist RNs with vital signs, mobility and personal care, creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients while ensuring dignity and comfort daily.

Responsibilities include pre‑care tasks, non‑medicated care, infection control, and effective communication with patients and families. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in North Carolina (required).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• 6+ months of experience in an acute care setting.

• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
