Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit. This Full-Time Days position works 36 hours per week with shifts 7:00am-7:00pm at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island.

CNAs assist RNs, provide patient care, maintain a safe environment, collect lab specimens, monitor intake and output, document in EMR, and fulfill other duties as assigned. Education: HSD/GED preferred; BLS and CNA certification required.

Qualifications

• Education: HSD/GED preferred; none required for eligibility.
• BLS certification required and maintained.
• CNA certification required and active.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs with patient care and daily activities.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Collect lab specimens as directed.
• Monitor intake and output.
• Document in the EMR and perform other duties as assigned.

This is a Full-Time Days position working 36 hours per week with shifts of 7:00am-7:00pm located at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island, Florida.

We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
