Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Missouri to provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under the supervision of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff.

Applicants must hold Missouri CNA certification, have a high school diploma or GED, and possess CPR/AED certification. One year of related care experience is preferred, along with the ability to pass background checks and TB screening.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA certification required.
• One year of experience in long term or skilled care, residential care, physician practice or correctional setting preferred.
• Must pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Must show/pass tuberculosis screening (PPD).
• Must be CPR and AED certified.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) (Medical) (Missouri) works under the close direction of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. The CNA is responsible for assisting patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs, and vital sign monitoring.• High school diploma or GED equivalent required• Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required• One (1) year of experience in long term or skilled care, residential care, physician practice or correctional setting preferred• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicableindmhm
