Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Must have good and regular attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to organize tasks, develop action plans, set priorities and function under stressful situations.
• Ability to maintain a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and provides personal care and emotional support.
• Takes and records vital signs and documents promptly.
• Prepares patient room and equipment for admission, transfers, and discharge.
• Assists in admissions, transfers and discharges and handles patient belongings.
• Responds to patient call lights and paging system in a timely manner.
• Performs routine treatment procedures under direction of an RN.
• Assists with restraints under RN direction and ensures proper positioning.
• Assists with feeding and meal tray delivery.
