Job summary

Liberty Commons of Alamance County is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily activities and personal care. The role requires compassionate care, adherence to care plans, and accurate record-keeping while collaborating with nursing staff.

Eligible applicants are 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, listed CNA in the DFS registry, and willingness to follow directions and attend required trainings. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification, listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene and ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care as needed.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including I&O.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the charge nurse.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Job Description:

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
