Job summary

Providence has a Nursing Assistant opening at St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Institute in Spokane, WA.

The role offers 0.5–1.0 FTE (20–40 hours/week), with a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible candidates who meet payment conditions, in addition to comprehensive benefits. Under RN supervision, the NAC performs basic nursing procedures and supports patients of all ages while facilitating communication with nursing personnel.

Qualifications

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of a Registered Nurse, the NAC performs basic nursing procedures in providing direct and indirect assistance to patients of all ages and facilitates communication of patient needs to registered nursing personnel. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.
