Job summary

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our IMC team. The CNA assists with patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and supports in patient areas for visitors, patients, and staff.

The position is full-time or .9 FTE with 72 hours bi-weekly and varied shifts, and includes full benefits, PTO from day one, a generous retirement plan with match, and a wellness program for employees and their families.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through High School diploma, GED, or equivalent; completion of a nursing assistant course.
• One year of CNA experience in an acute care setting beneficial or prior work in post-acute care or nursing home.
• Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required with current registry recommended.
• Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices; courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
• Graduation from an accredited Health Unit Coordinator program, or training/education meeting job requirements is beneficial.
• Two years' Health Unit Coordinator experience beneficial.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our IMC team!

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The CNA works within the Professional Practice Model of Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides support in patient care areas to visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and caring manner.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience and completion of a nursing assistant course.
• One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting beneficial or previous work experience in a post-acute care setting or nursing home beneficial.
• Prior listing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry required with current registry recommended.
• Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.
• Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training/education to meet job requirements beneficial.
• Two years' experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.
