Job summary

Pallatus Health is seeking a caring Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on hospice care in patients' homes and care facilities, under RN supervision, ensuring comfort and dignity at the end of life. • Must hold a CNA certification in the state of practice.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visits.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Preferred hospice, home health, or long-term care experience.
• Experience with end-of-life care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and ADL assistance.

• Take and record vital signs as directed by nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and families.

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Respect patient privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members.

Position Overview

As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Pallatus Health, you will provide essential hands-on care and emotional support to hospice patients and their families.
