Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will provide direct care, assist with daily activities, meals, and light housekeeping to enhance residents' quality of life.

We offer competitive pay of $22.00–$25.00 per hour plus a robust benefits package, including medical/dental/vision, PTO, six holidays and a 403(b) with employer match. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program and passing the required test.
• Must be listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the nurse manager and may take direction from licensed nurses on duty or supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents daily.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignments (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, mobility).
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean, orderly manner and assists with linen changes and organization.
• Assists with resident laundry and notifies supervisor of clothing needs.

Education

High School diploma or the equivalent

Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State

Positions are available in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.

In this role the Certified Nursing Assistant will:

• Reports directly to the nurse manager, may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Position also assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Position is service in nature, in performance of duties the resident care assistant is entrusted to assist residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment. This includes but is not limited to bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer, etc.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner by providing light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside table, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Assist with resident laundry assuring clothes are marked, clean and mended, ironed, and put away.
• Notify supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with serving meals and feeding of residents.
• May be cross trained in Assisted Living.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing the test for an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Compensation Pay Range:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
