Job summary

The Gilbert Residence is a not-for-profit organization that provides basic nursing care to residents and Assisted Living and Specialized Dementia care. We are seeking a dedicated CNA for full-time midnight shift (11:00p-7:00a) to join our compassionate team.

Under a Charge Nurse, the CNA will assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, and daily living activities, ensuring dignified care while meeting state requirements and facility policies. The role emphasizes reliability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan CNA Certification or eligible to take test.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Must be available every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, toileting, and grooming
• Feed dependent residents
• Provide personal care
• Monitor intake and output
• Documenting
• Use Mechanical lifts
• Adhere to P&P and State and Federal regulations
• Report to nurse any/all changes or needs on a daily basis

Midnight Shift (11:00p-7:00a)

The Gilbert Residence is a not-for-profit organization that provides basic nursing care to 32 residents and Assisted Living and Specialized Dementia care to 58 residents. We are a 5 Star facility rated by CMS and have a long tradition (60+ years) of excellence by providing compassionate and dignified care.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides resident care assistance under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. The Nursing assistant is an integral member of our team. We are looking for someone to join us and assist in providing great care. The right person would have completed the nurse aid training program and have passed the test to be certified by the State of Michigan or planning to take the test in the next 3 months.

DUTIES

Include, but are not limited to:

• Assist residents with bathing, toileting, and grooming
