Job summary

Waycross Health & Rehab in Waycross, GA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. You will help with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and collaborate with nurses to maintain a safe, respectful environment.

Starting pay is $17.63 to $18.68 per hour with evenings, nights and weekend differentials; enjoy benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, and a Great Place to Work certified culture that values you.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (State of Georgia or eligible).
• Heart for service and a passion for caring for others.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and a commitment to excellence.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Support mobility, transfers, and positioning.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Partner with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
• Foster a positive, respectful atmosphere for residents, families, and team members.
