Job summary

ICFAI in North Carolina seeks an Emergency Department Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will assist with routine tasks, document care, and help maintain patient safety in a fast-paced ED setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, current BLS certification, and being in good standing with NC DHHS Division of Health Service Regulation.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
