Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Lumberton, NC is seeking a compassionate Home Health CNA to provide in-home care for seniors and patients with illnesses, injuries or chronic conditions. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor wellbeing, and support the care plan under supervision.

This role offers flexible scheduling, weekend shifts, 1:1 patient ratios, and weekly pay. You must have NC CNA certification, CPR, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs to ensure

Qualifications

• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in North Carolina.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator, able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and those at home with illness, injury, or chronic disease.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals, monitor intake/output, blood glucose, and document changes.
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to follow the patient’s care plan.
• Observe patient and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care, medications, or equipment.

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Care for seniors and those with an illness, injury or chronic disease in their homes
• Help with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating and nutritional intake
