Job summary

Westview Care Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our weekend/PRN team. You will perform daily resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and monitor residents’ conditions to ensure comfort and safety.

As front-line support in the Clinical Department, you will uphold high care standards and collaborate with the care team in a friendly, supportive environment. Westview Care Center is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have an unencumbered State of Iowa CNA certificate or certificate of completion from an Iowa accredited CNA program.
• Strong focus on activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident safety.
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs and daily routines.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to supervisory staff.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Westview Care Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
