Job Description

Concordia at Cabot, the birthplace and headquarters of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, has one of the broadest networks of senior‑and‑healthcare‑related services in the country, all in one location: retirement living, short‑term rehabilitation, personal care, long‑term nursing care, hospice care, outpatient physical therapy, adult day services, even child care. We strive to hire excellent people at Concordia - and keep them as well!

Next CNA Class begins in early September—apply to be selected for a competitive spot!

We provide paid training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant through classwork and lab skills. CNA Class runs for three weeks starting in early June and has limited and selective seating; only top candidates are chosen.

Concordia pays for the class, class materials & pay you while attending the class! Rate of pay while in the class is $17.50/hour.

Once each student “graduates” from class, they are paid $20/hour while working on the floor prior to testing. In addition, Concordia provides $2.00/hour shift differentials for afternoon and $1.50/hour shift differentials for midnight shifts and an additional $1.00/hour for all shifts on the weekends.

Once CNA certification is obtained, base wage increases to $21/hour.

Full‑time and part‑time positions are available for the afternoon and midnight shifts and include an every other weekend rotation.

CNA Training Program Qualifications

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will have the ability to provide direct care for the residents here at Concordia and get to work in an environment with the best staffing ratios.
