Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center in Southern California is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Telemetry Department on the night shift. You will support non-critical patients with daily living activities and basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This full-time role requires a valid CNA certificate and BLS, knowledge of medical terminology, and preferred prior acute care or physician’s office experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

The CNA in the Telemetry Department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non‑critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
