Job summary

Golden Rose Care Center in Pasadena is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for the Subacute Unit. Full-time positions offer competitive pay, shift differentials, and a $600 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Shifts include AM, PM, and NOC on-site, with a 4 on 2 off rotating schedule. The CNA will assist residents with daily living, provide care under a Charge Nurse, and follow safety and infection control protocols while maintaining resident rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Golden Rose Care Center is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated and compassionate team in the Subacute Unit. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, training support, and a $600 sign-on bonus after 90 days (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance).

Pay and Bonuses

• $23-27 per hour, based on CNA experience
• $600 sign-on bonus (Full Time Employees Only, must be in good standing - Attendance and Performance)

Shift Differentials

• +$1 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts

Available Shifts

• AM: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• PM: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• NOC: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

*4 on 2 off rotating schedule

CNA Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Charge Nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living
• Provide physical comfort, emotional support, and social interaction
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment
• Protect resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Perform rounds per protocol and as needed
• Complete required documentation and in-service training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions

• Respond to call lights promptly
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, and hygiene
• Make beds and change linens
• Assist with toileting and incontinent care
• Serve and assist with meals; record intake and output
• Weigh residents as requested
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and range of motion
• Use proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Follow universal precautions and safety rules

Requirements

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
• BLS certification (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Honest, dependable, and compassionate
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• U.S. work authorization

Experience

• Worked 1 year as a CNA (Required)
