Job summary

Garden Healthcare is seeking a PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for weekend shifts in Sunset Corners. The role focuses on delivering personal care and supporting residents according to each care plan.

You will work within a team to maintain a respectful, homelike environment and promote residents' rights and independence. Requirements include state-approved CNA training, active CNA license, and willingness to provide care on Fridays through Sundays from 6:45am to 3:15pm; CPR is preferred

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program or equivalent.
• Active CNA license required; CPR certification preferred but not required.
• Experience providing personal care in health care setting, especially long-term care.

Seeking PRN CNAs for Weekends, Friday-Sunday 6:45am-3:15pm!

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides nursing and nursing related services to residents consistent with each resident’s comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. Resident care is provided according to the “Flow of Care” in a manner that meets the resident's physical, mental, and psycho-social needs and enables the individual to attain or maintain the highest practicable level of functioning. The CNA maintains a "homelike" environment for the residents, protects and promotes Resident Rights and assists the person to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible.

Requirements

Education: Successful completion of a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program or a nurse aide competency evaluation program approved by Florida.

Certificate/Licenses: Acceptable verification of training and competency evaluation from State Nurse Aide Registry. No findings in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, mistreatment of residents or misappropriation of residents’ property. Active C.N.A License required, CPR Certification preferred, but not required.

Work Experience: Experience as a Certified Nursing Aide giving personal care to impaired individuals in a health care setting particularily long term care is required.
