Job summary

Sunplex Subacute Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a PRN schedule in Ocean Springs, MS. You will perform regular direct care rounds, assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor conditions, take vital signs as directed, and maintain infection control practices in a subacute/transitional care unit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents' needs are met.
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/patient change in condition.
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse.
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
• Maintain safe and clean work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Certified Nursing Assistant ( CNA ) duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct regular direct care rounds on assigned unit to monitor activity and ensure residents needs are met including assisting with activities of daily living
• Maintain positive relationships with the residents/ Patients
• Notify Charge Nurse of any resident/ patient change in condition
• Obtain vital signs, weights, and heights as instructed by charge nurse
• Complete all assigned duties and documentation as required
• Coordinate and prepare for new admissions, transfers, discharge of residents in the Transitional Care Unit
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Ensure infection prevention and control practices
• Other duties as assigned
