Job summary

Whittier Pacific Care Center in Whittier, CA is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team on PM and NOC shifts. This full-time role is non-exempt and offers a $23.00 hourly pay grade, with a 4-on/2-off rotating schedule.

You must hold an active CNA certificate and BLS, be able to read, write and speak English, and maintain good physical health to assist residents with daily activities.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed RN or LVN.
• Assistance with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreation).
• Maintain unit organization to ensure smooth operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Status/Shifts Available:

Status : Full-Time - Consisting of a four consecutive workdays followed by two days of rest.

Shifts:

• Active CNA Certificate
• Active BLS
• Ability to work a Full-Time, 4 on/2-off rotating shift schedule.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Empathy and Compassion towards residents and their families.

Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• We utilize a fully cross-trained CNA team, uniquely prepared to serve both our skilled nursing and sub-acute units.
• Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse
• Such care includes assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings
• Organizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothly
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Scale: $23.00

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
