Job summary

Riverside Sanders is hiring a part-time night shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team in Gloucester, VA. You will support residents with daily living activities, maintain safety and dignity, and document care in the EMR.

The role requires a Virginia CNA certification, CPR/BLS and First Aid within 30 days, and less than one year of CNA experience is preferred. Flexible scheduling with at least one weekday shift and one weekend per month is offered.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Preferred)
• CNA - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required)

Responsibilities

• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met. Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability. Documents accurately in EMR resident’s ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
• Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.

Riverside Sanders is now hiring for a part-time night shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their caring and compassionate team in Gloucester, VA! This position offers flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of one weekday shift and one weekend per month.

Overview

Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, LPN and is ultimately responsible to the Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to nursing home facility policy and procedures.
