Job summary

Qualifications

• Rhode Island CNA license required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Basic technology skills for scheduling and documentation required.
• Ability to work independently and accept coaching.
• If no CNA training, training programs may be offered through Empower Training Academy RI/CT.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, mobility, transfers, meals, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement.
• Follow each client’s care plan and maintain a safe home environment.
• Observe and promptly report changes in the client’s condition.
• Complete timely documentation and communicate professionally.

Selected applicants may qualify for our Personal Care Aide Training Program (CT only) or Nursing Assistant Training Program (RI only) through Empower Training Academy. Rhode Island applicants must complete the required CNA training and licensing process before working independently with clients.
