Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation Saluda invites a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. The CNA will assist with hygiene, safety, and nutrition, document care in EMR, and support residents to maintain their functional status.
Under supervision, the CNA ensures dignity and safety, adheres to policies, and maintains high standards of infection control and patient care across day or evening shifts.

Overview Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, LPN and is ultimately responsible to the Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to facility policy and procedures.
Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met.
Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability.
Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
