Care Initiatives is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for Montezuma Specialty Care, a 41-bed skilled nursing community in Montezuma, IA. This role supports residents' daily living tasks and delivers compassionate care during overnights and shifts.

You will work with a devoted team to ensure safety, dignity, and high-quality care for residents in a welcoming environment. Qualified CNAs in Iowa or with activation ability benefit from competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for training

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa or ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Monitor health with routine vital checks.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Deliver emotional support and provide companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, as well as the healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment for safety.

Qualifications
