Job summary

Brightview Senior Living in Maryland is seeking a compassionate personal care assistant to provide warm, engaging support to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, offer companionship, and work with nurses to update care plans.

This role emphasizes noticing changes in day-to-day needs, encouraging participation in community activities, and contributing to a respectful, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• You have a positive attitude and love working with people!
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A current state required certification as CNA/HHA/CHHA- Medication Aide Certified is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, engaging personal care services, support and companionship.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and respond to changes in residents' day and personal care needs; collaborate with Nurse to update Personal Resident Care Plan.
• Encourage resident participation in community programs and activities.

Salary Range

Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.
