Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, IL. CNAs support nursing, medical and psychiatric staff and care for incarcerated individuals, including hygiene, daily living tasks and vital sign monitoring.

The position offers evening shifts (3p-11p) with an $22.77 hourly pay rate plus shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package, including insurance, a 401(k) match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• CNA licensure in Maryland required.
• CPR/BLS certification required; training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Monitor vital signs as part of routine health assessments.

We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Pontiac Correctional Center in Pontiac, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Pay Rate: $22.77/hr + evening shift differential

Shift: Evenings (3p-11p) 5, 8hr shifts per week - rotating weekends off/ rotating Tues/Thurs off

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in Maryland required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
