Job summary

Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our community in Michigan. The successful candidate will assist residents with daily activities, monitor health cues, and provide basic comfort and care, while maintaining safety and dignity for residents.

Responsibilities include feeding assistance, vital signs, mobility support, and help with personal care in a residential setting. Training and certification in MI are required.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification in Michigan required.

• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents or assists residents to walk.

• Turns and repositions residents, alone or with assistance, to prevent bedsores.
• Changes bed linens, runs errands, directs visitors, and answers telephone.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Assists with laundry and housekeeping duties.
• Dusts and cleans residents’ rooms.
