Job summary

Maplewood Senior Living in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily care during the 11 PM to 7 AM shift, including every other weekend. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure compassionate, high-quality care and maintain clean, safe resident environments.

The role requires current CT Nurse’s Aide Registration, physical stamina, and a passion for working with seniors.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion in working with seniors
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, families, peers and staff
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with care needs including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining and mobility support
• Engaging residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities
• Working with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assisting residents by maintaining resident rooms
