Job summary

Burlingtonconvalescent in California is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to join our nursing team. We offer AM/PM/NOC shifts and non-exempt status with pay of $21–$23 per hour.

You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and help keep the unit organized under supervision of a licensed nurse. Ideal candidates hold an active CNA, a high school diploma or equivalent, and are fully vaccinated.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster(s).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Compassion towards residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse.
• Such care includes assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings.
• Organizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothly.
• Other duties as assigned.
