Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Float Pool. The role supports multiple units, provides high-quality patient care, and uses a self-scheduling model with nights shifts (6:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.).

This is a 0.9 FTE position with weekend rotation and tuition reimbursement opportunities. The ideal candidate holds a WA CNA license, current BLS, and at least 1 year of experience in a medical setting or physician's office.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State CNA license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• One year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care activities with a customer-service oriented delivery of care to patients.
• Support delivery of care to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.

Deaconess Hospital is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Float Pool team. In this role, you will support multiple units throughout the hospital, providing high‑quality patient care wherever it is needed most. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to broaden your clinical experience.

Department-Specific Requirement

• 1 year of CNA experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Acute Care/Hospital setting preferred.

• Starting pay: $21.18 per hour (based on licensed experience)

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.18 - $31.68 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
