Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate care teams across Iowa's communities. This role supports daily living activities while delivering respectful care and companionship.

You will collaborate with residents, families, and the healthcare team, perform routine vital checks, and participate in infection control and therapeutic activities. Full-time or part-time evening shifts available.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Iowa or the ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming, eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Provide health monitoring including routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
