Job summary

West Anaheim Medical Center in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join the DOU unit. You will assist patients with daily living activities and provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

We require an active CNA certificate, current BLS, and knowledge of medical terminology. Prior acute care experience is preferred; full-time day shifts available with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
• Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The CNA in the DOU department is a certified assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
