As a Health Care Technician I, you will have the rewarding opportunity to enhance the quality of life and maintain the dignity of our residents. Part of caring for our residents is taking them for walks or rides on our beautiful campus, teaching them recreational skills, and supporting them with completing their Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s).
Salary Range: $35,360.00 - $44,62.00
A Sign-on bonus of $2,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025-2026 Budget Approval.

Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center is one of three state operated facilities serving adults with chronic and complex medical conditions that co-exist with neurodevelopmental or neurocognitive disorders often related to a diagnosis of severe and persistent mental illness or intellectual disability. The health and physical status of these residents require 24-hour supervision, daily nursing care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
We are a specialized long-term care facility focusing on maintaining quality of life and dignity for adults with neurocognitive or neurodevelopmental disorders with coexisting complex medical and behavioral needs whose level of support extends beyond that which can be provided in family or community living settings.
