Trinity Health Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale seeks a Patient Care Tech (PCT) / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our full-time team. You will work under RN supervision, assist with admissions/discharges/transfers, help patients with mobility, and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.

The role requires a Florida CNA license and a high school diploma or GED, with full-time days and weekend shifts; BLS from AHA is also required. Benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Schedule is made in advance, but the scheduled days may vary each week, includes weekend shifts. What a Patient Care Tech (PCT / Certified Nursing Assistant) Will Do:

• Have a current State of Florida nursing assistant license or completion of the fundamentals of nursing from an accredited school and the ability to work full-time any day of the week or weekend.
• Will assist in monitoring activities as directed and under the supervision of the RN; assists with patient admission, discharge or transfer; assists in patient's increased mobility; maintains a clean and organized environment; administers hygiene care to patients.

What a PCT/CNA Will Need:

• H.S. Graduate or a GED required.
• Current Florida State CNA license required.
• Ability to work full-time during the weekdays and weekends Previous experience working as a PCT in an acute care, rehab or skill nursing facility is preferred.
• Current BLS through the American Heart Association.
