Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive CNA care for residents.
• Report observations to nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Answer call lights and patient requests.
• Assist patients with eating, dressing, and bathing.
• Prepare patients for transfers or discharge.
• Comply with infection control and nursing policies.
• Observe diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician.
• Assist in emergency care.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) care for residents
• Reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Answering patients’ call lights and requests
• Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing
• Preparing patients for transfers or discharge
• Comply to all regulatory protocols and policies related to infection control and nursing care
• Observance of patient diet restrictions as prescribed by the physician
• Assist in the provision of emergency care

Skills and Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by Wyoming required
• BLS certification from the AHA required
