Laurels of Sandy Creek is hosting a CNA Hiring Event at our Wayland, MI location. Join us for an on-site interview day with a sign-on bonus of USD 8,000 for FT and USD 4,000 for PT. Afternoon and night shifts available, with competitive pay and benefits.

The CNA role supports residents under RN/LPN supervision, assisting with ADLs and ensuring safety and comfort. We offer medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in good standing or graduate of an approved CNA training program.
• State nurse aide registry entry required or within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and ADLs.
• Record vital signs and intake/output as directed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and positioning using proper body mechanics.
• Respond to call lights and changes in condition; report to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and document accurately and timely.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse. This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensures a safe and comfortable environment, and supports licensed nursing staff in delivering individualized care in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Graduate/GED

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must be a State Tested Nursing Assistant in good standing with the certification board or is a graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment; name entered into state nurse aide registry.
