Job summary

Ontario Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long‑term care team. You will observe residents, report health issues to the supervising nurse, and assist with daily living activities in a compassionate, respectful environment.

Base pay is $20.00–$22.00 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential for evenings and nights; a $2,000 sign‑on bonus is offered. Daily Pay access may be available to provide faster earnings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc).
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep resident spaces tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility data.

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents

• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse

• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.

• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake

• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements

• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy

• Transporting Residents within the Facility

• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores

• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member

• Successful completion of a CNA program

• Current CNA State Certification

• Must be in good standing with State Registry
