Job summary

Genesis in Alabama is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a per diem basis to support patients and residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed staff.

The CNA will help with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and safety checks, while upholding dignity and quality of care in a compassionate setting. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the long-term care team.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program and current certification required
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our patients and visitors and respond to their medical and physical needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse
• Contribute to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a safe environment that respects patient rights and needs.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA works alongside a Licensed/Registered Nurse to directly impact patients'/residents' quality of life by assisting with their activities of daily living (ADLs). You will also ensure that our patients/residents and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individual patients'/residents' needs and rights.
