Job summary

Warren Center in Queensbury, NY is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team. This role involves direct resident care, observation, hygiene assistance, meal setup, and documentation.

We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and weekly pay. We provide shift differentials, flexible schedules for full-time, part-time, or per-diem, and benefits including tuition reimbursement, medical and dental coverage, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Successful completion of a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements as needed.
• Make beds and keep Resident spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident and Facility data.

Base rate is $18.20-$22.00 with an additional $0.50 shift differential for evening and nights

DUTIES:

• Observing Residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.

Warren Center is an eighty-bed skilled nursing facility located at 42 Gurney Lane. Our facility provides a wide spectrum of nursing care to the residents of Warren County. We provide short-term rehabilitation services to people who cannot immediately return to their homes because of an accident or illness. We also provide long-term care for individuals who are unable to care for themselves. We look at each person from an individual perspective. We then utilize a team approach working with the residents and their families to develop a unique plan of care to meet their needs.
