Job summary

Covenant Place is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care, assist with daily living activities, and support the nursing team. The role emphasizes dignity, independence, and high-quality caregiving.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, monitoring health, aiding nutrition, and promoting engagement while maintaining safety standards. CNA certification, a high school diploma, and at least 1 year of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a state‑approved CNA training program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long‑term care setting preferred.
• Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.

• Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Help residents maintain personal hygiene and overall comfort.
• Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing team.
• Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.
• Foster meaningful relationships with residents through companionship and supportive care.
• Encourage participation in activities and programs to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with emergency care when needed.

Position Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and supporting the nursing team in maintaining residents' health and well-being. Certifications & Requirements:

• Active CNA certification in good standing with the state.


• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.


• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
