Summary

Provides patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety services as directed by the Charge Nurse, following departmental guidelines. Documents appropriately into patient records based on skill level and standards. Performs admission procedures, updates patient information, orients residents, and ensures proper identification and admission kits. Responds promptly to call lights, completes rounds, and repositions residents regularly. Takes vital signs and weights, reports findings, and applies medical equipment per orders. Performs procedures like Sitz baths, moist packs, and isolation techniques. Maintains supplies and equipment, and reports needs accordingly. Completes job duties through continuing education and teamwork, maintaining confidentiality and effective communication. May be assigned additional duties as needed.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state of employment
• CPR certification required or willing to obtain within six months
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage time and organize schedules
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients as needed
• Manual dexterity and coordination
• Visual acuity with color distinction

Pay range: $16.08 - $25.24 per hour
