Job summary

Brookdale South Bay in South Kingstown, RI is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to support a private pay skilled nursing/assisted living community. Shifts include 11pm–7am full-time and per diem options.

Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $1,000 for skilled nursing positions and opportunities for growth within the Brookdale network. Join a large senior living operator recognized for its care culture and staff development, with benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must be a State Certified Nursing Assistant (STNA/CNA) with current certification.
• Prior experience in assisted living or skilled nursing preferred.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with dining and personal care needs.
• Perform vital signs checks and assist with basic clinical procedures per policy.
• Provide support with activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, dressing).
• Collaborate with nursing team to monitor resident status and report changes.

Base pay in range will be determined by applicant's skills and experience. Temporary associates are not benefits eligible but may participate in the company's 401(k) program.

• Our Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA in Ohio) work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care, and give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Nursing assistants check in with residents, assist with dining and personal care needs, and perform vital sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (showers, bathroom assistance, dressing/grooming)
• Successful completion of State CNA/STNA course is required. Must maintain certification.
