Golden Sonora Care Center, part of Evergreen Healthcare Group, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care and support to residents. The role covers day, evening, and night shifts in a full-time capacity, with a focus on preserving resident dignity, rights, and independence while responding promptly to call lights.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, current CNA certification, and current First Aid and CPR.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal communication and compassionate patient care require tact and empathy.
• CNA certification and current First Aid/CPR are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required by the state licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights promptly and assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Assist with feeding and meal setup as needed.
• Transport residents using wheelchairs or assist walking when required.
• Turn and reposition residents to prevent bedsores and promote comfort.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and weight as directed.
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate resident records.

Job Summary:

Golden Sonora Care Centerin is seeking aCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA)to provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment which promotes resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and their individuality while providing individualized attention and encouraging residents to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and answering residents' call lights promptly and courteously.

Essential Functions:

• Answers signal lights.
• Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, toiletry, and oral hygiene activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Serves and collects food trays and feeds residents requiring help.
• Transports residents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk.
• Turns and re-positions residents, alone or with assistance
• Takes and records vital signs, food and fluid intake and output, and weight, as directed.
• Completes documentation

Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CNA Certification.
• Current First Aid and CPR.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the resident, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors
