Job summary

Avir at Seymour is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our PRN per diem team at our long-term care facility in Seymour, Texas. The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities and provide essential personal care.

Responsibilities include basic care, vital signs, weight tracking, and supporting mobility, while documenting care and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Texas.
• Ability to work variable shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming as needed.
• Provide basic care: vitals, weight tracking, specimens collection.
• Support residents' mobility and ROM exercises.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and activities.

• Basic life support certification (BLS) or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire
