Job summary

Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Full-time or PRN opportunities are available with shifts 7-3 for FT and 11-7 for PRN, and daily pay options.

The CNA will provide basic resident care under licensed staff, assist with ADLs, document changes, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment. Massachusetts CNA license and BLS/CPR required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in Massachusetts (MA).
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed staff, in a safe, compassionate and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents' physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes to nursing staff timely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment promoting dignity and well-being.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.

• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.

• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.

• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Massachusetts.

• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
