Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Sarasota, FL team. You will provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in line with Life Care standards and state regulations, including bathing, feeding, grooming and toileting with compassion.

Work within an interdisciplinary team, deliver excellent customer service, maintain an active license, and support quality patient care and family engagement in a compassionate healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with an active license.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting) to assigned patients.
• Deliver direct patient care in line with standards and regulations.
• Communicate and function effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Make independent decisions when warranted; maintain professional relationships with staff.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
