Pittsburg Care and Rehab in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as defined by care plans.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
• Assist with range of motion as needed.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' condition, attitude, or behavior.
• Uphold HIPAA and maintain confidentiality; deliver excellent customer service to residents and families.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You provide total care for our residents, starting with carefully assisting with providing activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents (including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care). You perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card. You visit with residents and reposition as required.

With a close eye for detail, you record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. You also conduct range of motion as needed.

You take great care to observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior that you find when caring for your residents. You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.

• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.

• Desire to work with the elderly

WORK SCHEDULE
