Job summary

Riverfront Rehab is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide daily care to residents, including grooming, bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance. You will respond to call lights, monitor health, and report changes to nursing staff. The role requires NJ CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current NJ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
• Must meet health requirements including TB test and physical.
• Compassion, patience and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility support.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with transporting residents to activities or appointments.
• Accurately document care provided and follow infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to provide resident-centered care.
