Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Stratford Commons Memory Care Community in Overland Park, Kansas. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and support participation in social programs under the direction of a licensed nurse.

We value compassion, reliability and a positive, energetic attitude. Must hold an active CNA certification in Kansas; prior long-term care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and in good standing CNA certification in KS.
• Experience as CNA in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Prepare residents for activities and social programs.
• Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Deliver care in accordance with accepted standards and regulations.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Certified Nursing Assistant | CNA, you will be responsible for delivering and assisting resident with daily needs, including personal care needs, preparation for activity and social programs, and routine activities in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements. You will provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.

• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Must have active, and in good standing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
