Visiting Angels Kansas City, KS is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide compassionate home care for seniors in the Kansas City metro area, including Overland Park and surrounding communities.

As a CNA with Visiting Angels, you will assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and transportation, while pursuing opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. The role offers varied shifts and a chance to make a meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong emergency response and first aid knowledge.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients.
• Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
